SoapBox is very proud ot present one of our utmost favourite poets, writers and entertainers currently working in the UK today. We couldn't love her more. 

Salena is ‘the doyenne of the spoken word scene’ - with twenty years of poetry and performance behind her she is a brilliant writer and entertainer. Funny, provocative and daring - Salena is also known as ‘the Mae West madam of the Salon,’ not to mention being The General of Soho literary salon, the Book Club Boutique.

In 2014 Salena Godden published both Fishing In The Aftermath / Poems 1994-2014, marking twenty years of poetry and performance, and her memoir, Springfield Road.

Tickets are £4 concessions, £6 in advance, or £8 on the door, if available. Advance purchase recommended as we expect a high demand for this event.

Adult content/language warning - 14yrs+ recommended. Licensed bar on site. Doors open at 7.30pm, finish at 10.30pm.
