Sally Army, The Pookajee Players, Elly Tree, The Decibel Kid & more

Join us for an evening of Festival fun with a joyful line-up of live music, poetry, comedy, DJ’s, fairylights and beautiful décor. We are delighted to welcome the comedy/music duo The Pookajee Players back with their funny musical nonsense and peculiar style of live performance. Amy Wragg will then be hosting the SoapBox Open Mic Hour, featuring you lovely lot! Poets, musicians, comedians – all welcome. Sign up on the getonthesoapbox facebook event page to pre-book your slot. Ticket holders only.

Shortly after the open mic we will be treated to a guerrilla gig from Elly Tree (solo), playing her magical and uplifting folk/roots/poetry. Armed with only a ukulele and a voice, this remarkable artist is one of our longtime favourite songwriters and vocalists. Come and see why.

Headlining the night is the devastatingly funny, brilliant and danceable in equal measure, its the one and only Sally Army a SoapBox stage favourite. No, not the brass band people who play at the supermarket. This is the six-piece multi-genre band who play in wedding dresses, and are responsible for such earworms as: ‘A Nice Cup Of Tea & A Biscuit’ and ‘Invaders of Personal Space’, the unofficial pandemic anthem. Guaranteed to get you on your feet and laughing till your bellyaches they are the best band you’ve never heard of.

The SoapBox Unfestival will finish with a DJ set from The Decibel Kid a Suffolk based electronic artist, playing beats, blips and bass. Come dressed in your Festival best and join the SoapBox family. We’re weird. But you are too. So thats okay then.
