At the end of 2023, a poet friend of mine (james Domestic) approached me with an idea: do I want to chuck in a few quid (along with a group poets) to self-publish an anthology. I thought, why not, sounds fun! I've known James for many years now, and I trust his taste. I knew if he was putting together a group of people, and a project, that it would be good. So I agreed.

A national publisher - Earth Island Records - quickly heard about the book, read a proof copy, and wanted to publish it! Which as absolutely amazing. So what started off as a small DIY project, suddenly became a 'proper' thing, with a fancy cover and an ISBN number and everything!
