Join Amy Wragg from SoapBox CIC each month at CHIp studios (centre of Ipswich town centre), for a fun & friendly writing group in our office (that has air con). Each month we'll try a selection of unique writing prompts & activities to inspire new ideas. Poets, prose, storytellers & comedians all welcome. Friendly, fun & low pressure. Share your work, or just come along and scribble away. This is a safe, inclusive and kind place to stretch your creative muscles and meet new people in a supportive environment.

Amy Wragg is a current recipent of the NNF Artist Bursary scheme for 2025, and has been developing new writing activities whilst on this programme. She has been working in poetry for 19 years and is a passionate advocate for 'having a go' and 'being rubbish'. The value of art and creativity is not in the result, it is in the taking part. The joy is being an active maker of art. Maybe you'll be brilliant and publish a book, maybe you'll just always love writing and will find it a fantastic theraputic tool for pocessing your emotions & thoughts. Both are equally valid.
