SoapBox is delighted to announce the return of Words & Verses, our free entry monthly spoken word open mic night with featured poets, at a new venue. Those fabulous folk over at The Pacitti Company are hosting us at their friendly arts space, the Think Tank, on Ipswich High Street in the centre of town. It's fully accessible and can welcome all ages, which opens up new possibilities for younger poets, comedians and writers in the region to join us on the mic. Hosted by arts producer and poet Amy Wragg, it'll be a fun filled night of experimentation, laughter and thought provoking literary linguistics.

We will also have a new start time of 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm, and finished at 9.30pm. We see the earlier start/finish times as being more accommodating for all of us with day jobs and kids, and to create a more welcoming space for younger poets to engage with.
