Journal : Eastern Enterprise Hub #Ipswich18

13/02/2014

Hello friends.

Welcome to 2014. I hope its treating you as well as its treating me. I've had a few months off running gigs to get my head round funding applications, & to start a business course at the Eastern Enterprise Hub. Its been a busy old time (even without the gigs) but I am glad to have booked my next show at The Steamboat on Friday March 14th with a whole host of acoustic folk/pop and stand up poetry. Its £3 entry, come along and join the fun.

Enough about that, Im here to rave about those wonderful people at the Eastern Enterprise Hub and all my fellow students. We meet up fortnightly as a group of 18 young businesses looking to develop (or create) a company. I love being surrounded by driven people who all want to create an exciting new business. My work is more than just a full time occupation, its an all consuming passion, and now there are 18 of us in a room saying the same thing! Its awesome.

Big love to the Eastern Enterprise Hub for bringing me onto this course. Already (in only two weeks) I have met three ridiculously impressive entrepeneurs who have taught me oodles and oodles. Thank you Caroline Gould, Louise Stephens and Luke Gusman, for generously donating your time and knowledge. So when you see me on Twitter touting about the #Ipswich18 sign off then you know what Im up to. Wish us all luck x
