Young folk musician who deserves our support

Here at Box HQ we we're very excited to hear about Tilly Moses (previously Tilly Dalglish) launching her first album this year. She is running a crowd funding campaign to make it happen and is looking for donations. We met Tilly 4 years ago now when she was only 14 years old, and gave her a slot on the SoapBox stage at FolkEast. We couldn't quite believe our ears when we found out how young she was (and still is). It has been our honour to support her and we feel very lucky to have had her play SoapBox many times since that fateful first gig. We were captivated by her honest, emotive and resonant song writing. Her performances are heartfelt and it feels like she brings the truth of human existence with her, every time she performs.

We are such big fans of Tilly's and want to ask you all to check out her campaign and donate if you can. There are tiered options starting from only £5 with some lovely goodies to be redeemed like beautiful pieces of artwork made by Tilly herself. She is also a brilliant visual artist and all round wonderful human being. Seriously. You couldn't find a better way to spend five quid. It’s always been a tricky job working in music and the arts. This kind of approach allows us all to be a significant part of our favourite artist’s journeys and help support them together. Tilly is one of Suffolk's most extraordinary young musicians and I cannot wait to see what happens next. The album will be a treat. I guarantee.

Best of luck Tilly. Can’t wait to hear the album. Check out her campaign online  >>>HERE<<<
