The Sandlings Sessions Sat 4th February

Our lovely friends at FolkEast have put together a new winter folk event, taking place this Saturday 4th February at Snape Maltings. BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners and FolkEast patrons The Young’uns will be joined by Andy Cutting, Sam Sweeney, Rob Harbron, Dave Shepherd, Anna Pack and Miranda Rutter to share their skills and passion for folk.

Throughout the day the artists will run workshops for all levels of experience. They will be offering something for everyone in a great opportunity to learn and play with the best, in an intimate environment. This is a great chance to meet, learn and be inspired by the UK's finest folk artists in true friendly 'FolkEast' style.

An evening event of song, music and dance rounds the day off with sets from The Young’uns and Leveret, and finishing with a french dance led by Dave Shepherd. There will be a bar offering  real ale at the affordable price of £3 a pint - as is the FolkEast tradition - and there will be yummy food to eat, to keep you fuelled for dancing into the night.

Full day tickets can be purchased for £55 in advance. This includes 4 x 80 minute workshops and  entrance to the evening event. Tickets for just the evening are available in advance from the FolkEast website for £15 or, alternatively , there will be a limited amount on sale at the venue from 7pm on the day. Further details online >>>HERE<<<
