Artist : Steve Larkin

STEVE LARKIN is an internationally respected spoken word artist/writer, a university lecturer, the founder of Hammer & Tongue and a singer song-writer. He was ‘International Poetry Slam Champion’ in 2004 and is now the module leader of ‘Poetry and Storytelling in Performance’ as part of the Performing Arts BA at Oxford Brookes University. He has been a Poet-in-Residence at HMP Grendon Underwood and was nominated for Oxford Professor of Poetry in 2010. His performance career has spanned some 16 years and has seen him share stages with the likes of John Cooper Clarke, Tony Harrison, Billy Bragg and Linton Kwesi Johnson.
