Artist : Sam James Hill

"He has a mandolin and some pedals and likes noisy music. Not always loud music, but music with lots of noises in it. He sings like a unskilled choirboy and had an EP on Bare Feet Records. He was called “post-folk poster boy” by the 405 and “loop-drone pedal enthusiast” by Something Good which is nice and he had fun supporting the likes of Jeremy Warmsley, Peggy Sue and Beth Jeans Houghton and plays in some other bands in Norwich. He is currently playing differently – but somewhat the same - with new songs in the run-up to a new record. It is (hopefully) melodic shoegaze music with live electronics and a mandolin. There is a guitar solo on one song. Apologies for that.”
