Welcome to the world: SoapBox Spoken Word CIC, our new non-profit social enterprise (no. 15971136) using spoken word as a tool to support people & communities.

On September 23rd 2024, Companies House & the offcial CIC regulator accepted SoapBox Spoken Word CIC onto the companies register, as formal non-profit entity. This is a huge moment for SoapBox, as we take our next steps in our adventure, and we are so very excited for you to join us on this journey.

We are now creating a programme of events & workshops to take place in early 2025, and we are upsklling our admin, creating Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, & other important policies, that will ensure we support the communities we serve to the best of our ability.

As part of this process, we spent much time working on our values & ethos, crafting our intentions for the non-profit. You can read all of our proposed activies on companies house >>>HERE<<<

Nothing will change for a little while yet whist we graft away quietly behind the scenes on our plan of action. We hope this significant progress will enable us to deliver more of what we do, and allow us to deliver better quality work, and take risks on new projects that we know will make a positive difference for people.
