An exceptionally talented folk artist who has had many releases. The second album entitled "Migration", was released in 2010, it is an accomplished collection of original songs. The album simply supplies a genuine experience of Marina Florance’s live performance as it was recorded live at High Barn in Essex. ‘Migration’ is available from her website. Marina has played the Club Tent at the Cambridge Folk Festival, Wimborne Folk Festival and has been part of many other festivals including the PULSE Fringe, the Norwich Fringe and Strawberry Fair. She has both supported and shared the same stage as: Richard Digance, Cara Dillon, Karine Polwart, Julie Felix, Steve Tilston, Ken Nicol, Vin Garbutt, The Joyce Gang, Darwyn (Matt Cardle & Ali Macmillan), Jamie Woon, Gus Magregor, Boo Hewerdine, Luka Bloom, David Sneddon, Sylvie Lewis, Mawkin Causley, Hannah Scott and many more brilliant performers. There have been many Radio interviews and air plays including: BBC Radio Essex, Cambridge, Norfolk, Northern Ireland, Bristol, Jersey and Suffolk, also on community/local radio stations including Future Radio, Moving Tone News, BBC Introducing. There have also been plays on various podcasts and internet radio stations.
