Join SoapBox at The Hive (Ipswich) for an afternoon of wordy nerdy half-term fun.

Poets, rappers, storytellers: originals & covers: All words welcome. Bring something you've written yourself, or a favourite poem by someone else. This half-term afternoon event will be family-friendly (no adult language or content), and welcomes all ages. 

Either sign-up in advance by emailing amy@getonthesoapbox.co.uk or just rock up on the day. We'll always keep (at least) 50% of the spaces available for 'on the day' sign ups, and we are particularly keen to welcome young performers to the mic, so at least 50% of the spaces will also be for under 25's.

Free soft refreshments (squash, tea, coffee) and no alcohol on the premises. This is a dry event, so softs only. You are welcome to bring your own favourite soft drink, if you'd prefer.
