SoapBox is delighted to announce we have produced three limited edition poetry zines to mark the great UnFestival year of 2020. Each one is a collaboration between a poet and visual artist, printed, stapled and folded at home by SoapBox zine-style.
The graphic cartoon style of Olly Woodman accompanies a joyful and silly poem celebrating beer, called The Connoisseur, by Ipswich writer Matt Annis. Bea Poetry's raw rumination on regret and love and family, Falter, is brought to life by Anna Rose's delicate and beautiful ink drawings. Lastly, Amy Wragg's Festival homage, Take Me Back To The Field, is presented as a 'colour-your-own' poetry zine with scenes and memories from the SoapBox stage at FolkEast.
As well as getting three wonderful poems, some beautiful art and handmade badges, you will also get that warm fuzzy feeling knowing you are supporting independent artists during a particularly difficult time. Thank you so much for dropping by and please stay in touch. We're planing on putting out a whole series of these so follow us on instagram, facebook and twitter for the latest news.
Stay safe and well and be kind. Love & Boxes xxx
