At the end of 2023, a poet friend of mine (James Domestic) approached me with an idea: do I want to chuck in a few quid (along with a group poets) to self-publish an anthology? And I thought, why not, sounds fun! I've known James for many years now, and I trust his taste. I knew if he was putting together a group of people, and a project, that it would be good. So I agreed.

A national publisher - Earth Island Records - quickly heard about the book, read a proof copy, and wanted to publish it. Which was absolutely amazing. So what started off as a small DIY project, suddenly became a 'proper' thing, with a fancy cover and an ISBN number and everything! Its been a real joy to be published for the very first time, alongside some of the UK's most exciting emerging spoken word poetry voices. 

Ten Poets (Volume One) features poetry by: Martin Appleby, Dawn Vincent, James Domestic, Amy Wragg (me!), Leon the Poet, Mary Fxcking Poppins, Ricci Read, Ricky Frost, Tonkabell, and Jackie Montague. It features adult language, and content, and is a rather beautful 112 pages of diverse, uplifting and uncompromising poetry. 

We held a launch at the end of March, and I quickly sold out of the initial run of books. However, I have recently restocked and they are now available from my website for the very first time.
