Artist : Adam Moss

Adam Moss played his first proper gig at the age of 14, but SoapBox first encountered him in Suffolk when he was 17 years old at a local acoustic night. A quirky pop songwriter with confidence beyind his years, he caught and kept our attention, so we booked him for a handful of gigs in 2011/12. Adam is from Ipswich (but now based in London) and released his debut album Hold On under Vavoom records in 2011. He has since won two publishing deals with seperate companies,

Early influences were his elder brother James - who plays bass in a pro band, and others such as Paolo Nutini, Newton Faulkner and  Jack Johnson. In fact seeing Newton Faulkner live in concert is what really spurred Adam on to be a performing musician.

I recently caught up with Adam (who is now 21 years old) and was very pleased to hear he is still making music but now under the name of 'Jordan Chase'. He has just release his debut EP May 2016 and you can find more about what he is up to by searching 'iamjchase' on all good social media sites. Wonderful news, can't wait to catch him at a gig again soon.
