Im Lucy Hall.
I've always been different to your average 16 year old. I have a style, and always a certain bravado in everything I do. You could call it daring, I guess.
I've recently competed in Ipswich Has Got Talent and came fourth out of over 100 auditionees whilst performing my newest song "Dolly" in front of 1000 people at The Regent Theatre.
All my lyrics mean a hell of a lot to me. Most tell stories that are quite deep. I write about Anorexia, Prostitution, The Death of a Loved One, and only some are the average cheerful "Summer-Pop". To me, meaningful subjects make my songs so much more powerful.
Currently working on getting material for a debut album with VaVoom records. And will hopefully have a ten track album out with them by next year. Planning on getting as much studio time as possible during my A levels, which is gonna be tough :\ x
I've got a few little demo bits recorded, but I mostly put my stuff on YouTube for you all to have a listen to.
You know, I love it when I see the audience's faces when I start to sing. I put emotion into every song I do; If I didn't, it wouldn't be a song at all. It makes me so proud when a complete stranger comes up to me after a gig and compliments my performance, you guys keep me going at it :)
Thank you ?
