I am a poet, an intersectional feminist and social justice activist who writes about life and the arts. I was born in Ethiopia then moved to the UK when I was 11 years old. Most of my childhood was spent growing up in the coastal town of Southwold. I am inspired by my feminist and social justice values, my love for home, the countryside, and the sea so Suffolk and Africa will always have a special place in my heart. In my spare time I write reviews for the theatre and maintain a blog called ‘The Arts Living’. My poetry has been published in anthologies with United Press and my first book ‘Love & Loss: Collected Poems’ is available via Amazon.
